NUP vets MPs from central region

Recently, the party concluded the vetting of city mayors including mayor for Kampala.

The National Unity Platform electoral commission is set to vet a number of aspirants from the central region hoping to represent the party in the 2021 general elections.

The process is scheduled to take place at the party headquarters on Thursday.  Recently, the party concluded the vetting of city mayors including mayor for Kampala.

Some of the members who recently left DP bloc have already arrived at the party headquarters, these include; Allan Ssewanyana, Emmanuel Kigozi Ssempala, Betty Naluyima among others.


Other key figures present for vetting include Muhammad Ssegirinya, Dr. Hilderman, NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyi and Patience Nantege who is vying for the Kyadondo East post with Muwada Nkunyinji.
