Medical experts discover new Covid-19 treatment

According to Dr. Bruce Kirenga one of the experts, this treatment is still on trial and once approved it will be used to treat Covid-19 patients across the country.

Kirenga stated that this new treatment is from blood samples of patients who recovered from Covid-19, filtered to form a plasma and then used to treat  the patients.

He adds that once a patient gets this plasma, it helps speed up the recovery process due to strong antibodies contained in the fluid.

At the same function, the minister of health, Dr Jane Ruth Aceng commended the experts for the research and reminded the public of the Covid- 19 preventive measures.
