Although she has not attracted a lot of media attention, Annabelle Nakabiri Ssebakijje looms prominently as a young woman of admirable accomplishments.

The 34-year-old is the founding executive director of The Remnant Generation, a local non-governmental organisation (NGO) that rescues, rehabilitates and helps child-mothers and survivors of sexual abuse prosper. The NGO has its headquarters at Busega (Kitaka Zone), along Chief Kayemba Road.
