Uganda registers 98 new Covid-19 cases, one death

Recoveries according to the ministry stood at 1,268. The death toll stands at 26 after the ministry reported one more death.

Out of the 4,232 samples tested of Covid-19 yesterday, 98 Ugandans turned out to be positive. This is according to the statement issued by the health ministry this afternoon.

The new cases have pushed the country's accumulative case tally to 2,524 from a total of 359,289 samples since tested by the health ministry

Out of the 2,565 samples tested from alerts and contacts, 92 positive cases were confirmed.

Kampala recorded 65 cases Moroto 8, Wakiso 6, Mbale 4, Gulu 3, Adjuman 2, Arua 1, Kotido 1, Pader 1 and Tororo 1

Of the 1,667 samples tested from the points of entry, three of the confirmed cases were Ugandans, while 3 foreign truck drivers were denied entry after testing positive.
