Stanbic Bank temporarily closes one branch in Kampala over COVID-19

Uganda announced that it had registered 64 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths on Tuesday.

Stanbic Bank Uganda has temporarily closed one of its branches in Kampala after an employee there tested positive for COVID-19.

In a public notice released on Tuesday evening, the bank advised customers intending to use Stanbic William Street Branch to try other nearby branches.

Uganda announced that it had registered 64 new cases of COVID-19 and three deaths on Tuesday. This brings the cumulative total of confirmed cases to 2426 and total deaths related to the virus to 25.
