AFCON 2021: Uganda Cranes to face South Sudan in November

CAF Emergency Committee on Wednesday approved the resumption of AFCON 2021 and World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

Uganda Cranes will return to action against South Sudan on November 9 and 17, according to the Confederation of African (CAF).

The Cranes top Group B with four points from two games followed by Burkina Faso, Malawi in second and third respectively, while South Sudan are at the bottom of the group.

"The CAF Emergency Committee has approved the resumption date for qualifiers of the Total Africa Cup of Nations Cameroon 2021 and the group stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022," CAF said in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The Cranes last played last November, winning 2-0 against Malawi in Kampala.
