Presidential initiative on wealth and job creation launched

KABAROLE- Government has launched the presidential initiative on wealth and job creation in Kabarole district with an aim of improving the household incomes of the people.

While launching the program Thursday, Ritah Namuwenge the head of program at the office of the president said that it is a new intervention by the government to promote job creation and improve household income.

"The objective of the program is to promote access to and usage of financial services," Namuwenge said.

Margret Muhanga the Buruhya Member of Parliament said that the program will benefit the people of Kabarole district who own small businesses.

"Many of our people have got challenges in accessing financial services but through this program, people will get access to such services," Muhanga said.
