Police block clergies' walk to demolished church

The Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander Moses Kafeero has canceled the peaceful demonstration that had been organized by clergies from Namirembe Diocese.

The men of God led by Kazo Archdeaconry head, Ven Emmanuel Ssewannyana had planned to walk from Namirembe diocese offices to the site of the demolished St Peter's Church in Ndeeba for prayers.

Kafeero says that the clergies did not inform the police in time and they were many which would lead to the spread of COVID-19.
