Reports indicate that Uganda Cranes defender Murushid Jjuuko has been in negotiations to join Express FC despite the fact that the likes of Vipers, URA, and KCCA had earlier shown interest in the player. Express is also on the verge of re-signing striker George Senkaaba on a two-year deal.

Kibirige to SC Villa?

SC Villa is close to signing goalkeeper Meddie Kibirige who is a free agent following the expiration of his contract with relegated side Tooro United. If finalised, Kibirige who is also being chased by Express will replace goalkeeper Samson Kirya who joined Wakiso Giants.

Ikara joins Police

Goalkeeper Tom Ikara has joined Police on a two-year deal. Ikara who has been a free agent after leaving KCCA decided to join Police despite the fact that league champions Vipers were also interested in his signature. He joins Uganda Cranes player Tony Mawejje, defenders Hassan Muhammad, and Eric Senjobe as the other Police signings.

Kyetume captures Kabuye's signature

Kyetume has signed midfielder Steven Kabuye on a two-year deal from Mbarara City. Kabuye who didn't get enough playing time with the Ankole Lions will reunite at Kyetume with his former Mbarara coach Livingstone Mbabazi. Kyetume is also close to signing Onduparaka duo of Ezra Bidda and defender Rashid Muhammad.
