Nyamityobora acquires Aliganyira

Nyamityobora who finished fifth last season in the Rwenzori Group with 13 points, recently appointed Richard Makumbi as the head coach and he will be deputised by Denis Kiyimba.

Were who guided Uganda Christian University to their first title of the University Football League, last season has won the Masaza Cup three times with Ssingo (2015 & 2018) and Buddu in 2016.

Mutanda prefers KCCA or URA

Striker Bashir Mutanda is ready to join either KCCA FC or URA FC if any of the two sides come calling. Mutanda who has featured for Vipers in the past is now a free agent after the expiration of his contract at SC Villa. However, reports indicate that the Tax Collectors are likely to take on Mutanda following their struggles in front of goal last season.

KCCA still in the market

Despite having signed five new players, KCCA FC is still in the transfer market. This was revealed by club chairman Martin Ssekajja who said that they still need to sign more new players to beef up different departments.  Forwards Brian Aheebwa (Mbarara City) and Isma Mugulusi (Busoga United) are some of the new players likely to join the 13-time league champions. Midfielder Pius Obuya is another player that has agreed terms with KCCA although he is yet to be unveiled.

Onduparaka duo to join Kyetume

Onduparaka duo of striker Ezra Bida and defender Rashid Muhammad is close to reuniting with former coach Livingstone Mbabazi at Kyetume FC. The Mukono-based side who finished 11th last season is working around the clock to strengthen their squad with striker Raymond Walugembe from the Buganda Regional League side Buwambo FC also expected to join.
