Pastor Jackson Sennyonga of Christian Life Church Makerere-Kavule has asked the government to consider re-opening churches.

He said churches play a big role in the country such as installing hope in people which they need in such a period.

While donating food to the Lubaga Pentecostal pastors at God's Holy Power Ministries International in Nateete, he said that re-opening of churches will set an example for formerly crowded places on how to operate.

"Some work places and businesses reopened, private and public transport resumed. We also pray that churches are considered because we are willing to follow the SOPs," he explained.

He also asked fellow pastors to work on what went wrong before the lockdown, focus on reviving the nation and be exemplary to their followers.

The food relief was flagged off by the Lubaga District Internal Security Officer  Juma Ssemwanga and over 200 pastors from Lubaga municipality received food.
