Regilion Donation
Deputy RCC for Makindye Municipality, Ibrahim Kagolola has asked Pentecostal pastors to remain patient on the re-opening of worship places amidst the fight of CCOVID-19.
While flagging off food donated by Pastor Jackson Sennyonga of Christian Life Church- Bwaise yesterday, Kagolola told pastors that it's not only in churches where people can be blessed, God can hear prayers from anywhere.
"We can seek God while in our homes. Even though we get blessings from holy places, we should abide by the situation. I call upon pastors to remain calm and also follow guidelines provided by the ministry of health." said Kagolola.
He added that as much as pastors want worship places open, some may fail to maintain social distance of which he said it's crucial in preventing the spread corona virus.
He thanked pastor Sennyonga for donating food and urged other pastors to do the same as a way of serving God.
Over 400 residents of Bunga a suburb in Kampala and nearby places received food which included 10kgs of posho, 5kgs of beans and a bar of soap.
This is the third time pastor Senyonga donates food to the needy and over sh500m has been used in this cause according to his personal assistant.
