Wrestling fans brace for WWE Raw, NXT and SmackDown

Jul 01, 2020

Fans of the World Wide Entertainment (WWE) can gear up for another thrilling week of action on Supersport with live airings of the Raw, NXT and SmackDown Raw shows running from June 30 to July 4.

The action began on Tuesday morning with WWE Raw Episode 1414. All eyes will be on Edge, after he delivered a blistering promo in last week's episode in which he promised to tear Randy Orton's life apart. The ‘Legend Killer' defeated Edge in the ‘Greatest Wrestling Match Ever' at the Backlash pay-per-view, but the ‘Rated-R Superstar' says that Orton's actions have not ended his career, but rather revived it.

"See, you woke up the side of me that will sink to any level to get what he wants," Edge said. "Who doesn't care how many backs he steps on and bruises to get to the top. I don't care about winning a wrestling match now, Randy. I'm going to embarrass you, emasculate you and make you wish Cowboy Bob was firing blanks on the night you were conceived."

Thursday July 2, brings Episode 569 of WWW NXT, which will see Keith Lee basking in his victory in a triple threat match against Finn Balor and Johnny Gargano in the last episode - a triumph which not only earned him the NXT North American Championship, but also set up a double-belt clash against NXT Champion Adam Cole in which the winner will take all.

"The sleepers were wise. Not having air is quite the burden. What a battle! But still….forward march. Someone is making history as the first-ever double singles champ in the existence of #WWENXT You may be #Undisputed…but I am #Undeniable. Mr Cole…may the best champ win," Tweeted Lee of the upcoming clash.

Episode 1089 WWE SmackDown, will be aired on July 4 will featuring Universal Champion Braun Strowman building towards a creepy showdown in a swamp with former mentor Bray Wyatt. "What do you say, Bray. Do you want to go home? Do you want to go to the pace of your creation? Let's Go. Because I'm ready to turn it into the place of your destruction. One... more... time, Bray. Let's go home."
