Maroons' footballer spends night in cells for flouting curfew directive

Nsubuga was stopped by the Nansana police when he was found riding after 5 pm but instead, he tried to speed off.

WAKISO - Maroons FC footballer Bronson Nsubuga spent Friday night behind Police cells for allegedly flouting the curfew directive and trying to assault a police officer in Nansana, Wakiso district.

Nsubuga was stopped by the Nansana police when he was found riding after 5 pm but instead, he tried to speed off.

He was arrested by officers, whom he tried to wrestle down and run away. However, the officers overpowered him and took him to the cells.

On Saturday, he apologised and was released on Police bond.
