COVID-19: Ugandan truck driver tests positive

The other 417 samples tested in the community were negative of COVID-19. The total number of samples tested Friday stands at 1,533.

HEALTH  COVID-19

The health ministry has confirmed one new case of COVID-19 out of the 1,116 samples tested Friday from truck drivers. The new case is a Ugandan driver who arrived from Kenya via Malaba.

The other 417 samples tested in the community were negative of COVID-19. The total number of samples tested Friday stands at 1,533.

The total number of confirmed cases in the country stands at 75 as of Friday. The health ministry has appealed to the general public to remain calm.
