The coronavirus which causes a disease called COVID-19, was first reported in China.

Do you know why? it is because of a virus called corona that has spread in the whole world. 

 

Coronaviruses are a family of viruses that range from the common cold to MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus) and SARs (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus). 

 

The coronavirus which causes a disease called COVID-19, was first reported in China. 

 

It is believed to have spread from animals to humans. 

 

Countries most affected include, Italy, France, South Korea, China, USA, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Norway, Austria, Malaysia Pakistan and San Marino. 

 

Uganda has also joined in the fight against this virus.
