Acacia Foundation donates surgical masks to Kapeeka

NAKASEKE - A team from Acacia Foundation has aided Nakaseke district task force with over 20,000 surgical masks and 200 medical personal protection equipment (MPPE) in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19 Uganda.

The donation was handed over to Nakaseke district Chairman Ignatius Koomu by Esther Yu and Jason on behalf of Acacia Foundation.

Yu said she hopes this will continue to strengthen the relationship between the people of China and Uganda. She also promised that through the Acacia Foundation, they contribute more towards the fight against the pandemic.

 
"This is a great start for Nakaseke, with the availability of these gears our medical team is more prepared and can receive any patient without fear," Koomu said.

 Acacia Foundation is one of the companies under Sino solar group of companies that has been operating in Uganda for 12 years.

It is committed to making Uganda clean through using advanced technology for collecting and recycling of plastics.

This group has companies in Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Uganda. In Uganda, they have four companies located in Matuga, Kampala, Jinja, and Ndeeba.
