CORONAVIRUS

How many times to you bathe in a day? If you have been having issues taking a bath, coronavirus will force you to do it.

According to the head of Environmental Health Julian Kyomuhangi, Ugandans will have to bathe, not just once, but twice or more to prevent the deadly virus.

She said keeping good health hygiene won't only help Ugandans to avoid the virus but also will help them avoid other infectious diseases that are caused by poor hygiene such as diarrhea and cholera.

"Ugandans have bad habits when it comes to hand washing. They should learn washing hands with soap, avoid touching their faces and also use sanitizers," Kyomuhangi said.

She also added that Ugandans should emphasize proper food hygiene; good domestic hygiene because when the coronavirus finds you in a poor hygiene condition, it just sweeps you away.

She was speaking this at the press conference at the Ministry of Health headquarters in Kampala on Monday.
