KAMPALA - A notorious suspected criminal, who has been terrorizing Makindye, has been finally arrested.

Eric Kizza, commonly known as fourteen, was arrested in the wee hours of Monday, during an operation that was conducted by Makindye Local Defense Unit (LDU).

The first infant Division spokesperson, who also doubled as LDU spokesperson, Maj. Bilal Katamba, tells New Vision, that Kizza operates individually, but normally meet as a group of other criminals to plan their deadly missions.

"They meet to share the details about the routes to use while executing their missions, but when the time comes, they operate individually purposely to elude our patrol teams," said Katamba.

He adds that his accomplices are still at large but efforts are being made to ensure they are also arrested.

"People mostly around Salaama road and Kosovo knew him but they could not arrest him. He had specialized in breaking into peoples' houses, grabbing phones, bags, and other valuables from especially the women along the way," he added.
