Big prizes lined up for MAU women's day celebrations

The speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga and the state minister for primary education Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde are expected to grace the event.

Participants in the Motorcycling Association of Uganda (MAU) women's day celebrations at Uganda Motorsport Arena Busiika on Sunday have more than enough on their menu.

The organisers of the Motocross Ladies Quad Challenge have set aside big prizes and Airlifting of participants and fans around Kampala on that day courtesy of Kampala Executive Aviation.

The event is meant to celebrate the mothers who do the donkey work behind the doors to give fans the best riders who excite fans during competitions.

"It is a day for mothers and we are doing our best to make them happy as we celebrate them," Event manager Peter Ndiwalana said.

Motocross Ladies Quad Challenge is the first of its kind in the history of motorcycling in Uganda and it is meant to appreciate the unsung heroes of the sport.

The speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga and the state minister for primary education Rosemary Nansubuga Sseninde are expected to grace the event.

The event is supported by Mountain Dew, KEA and  Extreme Adventure Park Busiika.
