Having the father of the child gotten to know about the baby's condition, he run away and left Kasimire under the care of her mother Elizabeth Katushabe.

However, doctors at Mulago hospital demanded that Kayiwa will need to go under an operation, at a fee of three million. This is something the family wasn't able to raise due to their financial instability.

Kasimire opted to search for assistance through different media platforms, something that answered her prayers through the B2c.

"We will keep around seeing the baby go through it all. For the love, we have given the family two million shilling as contribution for the operation. We have also paid her rent of three hundred thousand. Her land lord was ending her out over rent arrears," B2C's Delivered Julio said.

Kasimire is currently staying in Nsambya, Kirombe a Kampala city suburb.
Gastroschisis is a situation where a baby's intestines are found outside of the baby's body, existing through a hole beside the belly button. The hole can be small or large and sometimes other organs, such as the stomach and liver can also be found under the baby's body.
