Black Pirates' 29-20 bonus point win over Warriors was good, but not good enough because the team's discipline was wanting, according to their coach Robert Musinguzi.

He said conceeding 12 points because of four penalities worries him alot. Going forward, Musinguzi plans to focus on building the team's discipline.

The Pirates' coach made the remarks after thei rgame against Warriors at Kings Park, Bweyogerer.

Now on 24 points, victory lifted Musinguzi's team from sixth to third on the log.

"A win is a win, but I must also admit that our discipline must be addressed if we are to achieve our goals this season," said Musinguzi.

His fears stem from the fact that his side conceded more than four penalties, with Warriors managing to convert all of them.

"We have to work on our scrummaging and other departments because conceding more than four penalties in a game is too much," said Musinguzi.

To defeat Warriors, Ben Ngono scored two tries, Conrad Wanyama and Joshua Engau scored a try each, before Wanyama and Engau added a conversion each.

In the other games played over the weekend, defending champions Heathens defeated Buffaloes 25-0 to stay top of the log on  38 points, four ahead of Kobs who beat Rhinos 42-10.

Mongers whipped Rams 37-3.

Jinja Hippos defeated Makerere Impis 16-12 in a tightly contested game at Damwaterz ground.

Meanwhile in the women league, Black Pearls were upset on home turf 22-19 by Entebbe base Avengers in Bweyogerere.

"It was all about lack of maturity and experience on the side of my players. It was a game we had won, but we let in a try at the last moment," said coach Helen Buteme after the game.
