The former KCCA FC teenage striker joined Paradou AC last month on a four-year deal.
Former KCCA FC player Allan Okello will likely make his debut for his new side Paradou Athletic Club of Algeria when they play against US Biskra in the Algerian Ligue 1 on Thursday.
"Okello will make his league debut on Thursday evening against struggling US Biskra in the Algerian Ligue 1," reads a communication from one of the sources in Algeria.
The 19-year-old forward joined Paradou last month on a four-year deal.
The left-footed forward, who was left with five months on his KCCA contract, declined to renew it to leave for greener pastures.
Okello's contract with Paradou has a sell-on clause whereby in case of a potential future transfer of the player to another club, KCCA will retain 20% of the transfer fee.
By the time of his departure, Okello was the club's topscorer in the Uganda Premier League this season with six goals in the 10 games he played in the first round of the current campaign.
He joins the list of several Ugandans playing in North Africa:
• Khalid Aucho (Misr Lel Makkasa Sporting Club)
• Abdu Lumala (Pyramids)
• Emmanuel Arnold Okwi (Ittihad Alexandria)
• Former Vipers captain Tadeo Lwanga (Tanta Sports Club)
• Derrick Paul Nsibambi (Smouha Sports Club)
• Allan Kyambadde (El Gouna)
In November last year, Paradou eliminated KCCA in the CAF Confederation Cup play-off round, 4-1 on aggregate. Okello scored KCCA's only goal.
Paradou are currently 12th in the Algerian top tier with 18 points from 15 games. They are 14 points behind table leaders Belouizdad.
