Despite putting up a good display, Police coach Abdullah Mubiru was unhappy that his side did not walk away with three points against SC Villa on Monday in the Uganda Premier League

Mubiru was speaking after his side twice came from behind to salvage a point against SC Villa in an entertaining game at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

"I was disappointed by the result. We deserved to win the match since we created a lot of chances. We lacked a killer instinct. My players were not serious when they reached in the final third despite good build-up play," Mubiru said.

"I call upon referees to improve their officiation. A case in point is Villa's second goal by Nicholas Kabonge who was was coming from an offside position. So I request them to be fair to both sides. In the first round, still against Villa, we scored and the same assistant referee (Isa Masembe) denied us a goal after two Villa players collided with each other," he added.

Villa who had a good run in their previous games, started the game with urgency and the trick paid off with an early goal for Bashir Mutanda who headed in Derrick Ndahiro's free kick in the 16th minute.

Police equalised in the 44th minute through Samson Kigozi before Villa took the lead few seconds after Kabonge shot past Police goalkeeper Davis Mutebi from outside the box.
