Waiswa is expected to strengthen SuperSport’s Premiership title-winning prospects this season.

Moses Waiswa announced his arrival in the South Africa Absa Premiership with an immaculate performance on his debut against Chippa United.

Well-oiled by the mercurial skills of the Cranes attacking midfielder, Supersport dominated this game -with Waiswa orchestrating play and allowing the likes of Veli Mothwa into space.

Bradley Grobler scored their first from the penalty spot on 38 minutes and the second on 64 minutes, before Luke Fleurs' extended the lead with a header on 16 minutes.

The result left Supersport and the Chilli Boys placed third, and 10th respectively on the league standings.

Waiswa is expected to strengthen SuperSport's Premiership title-winning prospects this season.

The Cranes midfielder, who was unveiled by the Matsatsantsa outfit early this year, has already been described by coach Kaitano Tembo  as a very creative attacking midfielder that should add valuable depth to the team currently third on the table.

Waiswa linked up with SuperSport in July last year from Vipers on a two year deal but was unable to launch his career with the club due to a recurring knee injury.

Waiswa is a brilliant passer of the ball, a calmness in possession and can offer a deep-playmaking presence that will be crucial in dealing with offensive sides in the PSL.
