"I want to thank all our sponsors; this is an unbreakable bond and we are going to keep it and ensure our partners get value for their money," Nakiyaga said.

"Singleton has changed the game of golf and it has added lifestyle and fresh air and opened it up to more people and they love the game and it has created experiences, and they are enjoying themselves.

"The tournament is now by far the biggest tournament in East Africa and it will soon become a regional event. We have invested over sh700m in this year's tournament and it keeps growing and getting better each year," Nakiyaga stated.

Sponsors speak about the Singleton

Annet Nakiyaga (UBL) - Golfers have tested a 12-year old for three years but this year they are going to test a 15-year old and an 18-year old whisky.

John Katto (CEO Ekspresso) - We are proud to be co-sponsors and we shall be refreshing golfers on and off the course. Ekspresso is committed to serving you in the best way possible.

Anthony Ndegwa (CEO cba Bank) - As a bank we are proud to be co-sponsors for the second year running. Last year was very exciting and as a brand we have seen value in this partnership.

Singleton has grown with the game and we hope this year is going to be much better and we hope more sponsors can join to enhance the experience. We believe that golf in Uganda can take this country forward. We want to promote the game in the country so that our players can be able to participate in the regional events and nurture local talent.

Ivan Mugisha (RwandAir) - We've created a bond with this tournament and we will continue sponsoring year in year out and we always look towards another exciting event. We shall be offering 12 air tickets to both players in the main and subsidiary events and the Grand Finale.

Dennis Kawalya (Golf Bycentrics) - This is our fourth year and we have been the visual partners of this event and through the Singleton the golfers have appreciated the value of the various media and we shall continue to bring the game to life through the lens with more visual productions.

Allen Ampaire (Serena Hotels) - This tournament is very important for us because we are trying to grow golf tourism in Uganda. We equally have a very beautiful course, so Singleton lays a foundation for the growth of golf and that is very important for us. We thank all our partners that have kept with us in this tournament.

Every course is different for the golfers so we welcome all the golfers to the best course in East and Central Africa.
