Rema, responding to ululations, took Ssebunya to the centre stage, where she performed as they tickled each other to the amusement of the guests.

She then performed ‘Tikkula' and led the doctor to the podium, where they congratulated Kalungi, who was celebrating his recent graduation with a diploma in legal practice from the Law Development Centre (LDC), Makerere.

Realising that no one was giving Rema money, Ssebunya pulled out a bundle of sh20,000 notes and started throwing them at her, a practice often associated with socialites and wealthy men in Kampala.

Kalungi, who was flanked by his wife Hanifa, said he would set up chambers and help the poor, widows and widowers.

The guests of honour at the function were former deputy chief justice Stephen Kavuma and LDC senior lecturer Richard Mwebembezi.
