Wild animals and beach life at Entebbe Zoo

Throughout this festive season, the facility shall offer music and live performances from dawn to dusk, at a usual entry fee of Sh5,000 and Sh10,000 for children and adults respectively.

It's not just a Zoo. The Uganda Wildlife Conservation and Education Centre (UWEC) continues to rescue, rehabilitate, release and conserve animals among other biodiversity.

With the longest beach in Entebbe, UWEC now offers a romantic alternative for ceremonies and holidays at a magnificent jetty area. Throughout this festive season, the facility shall offer music and live performances from dawn to dusk, at a usual entry fee of Sh5,000 and Sh10,000 for children and adults respectively.

Several activities and concerts have been held at the Zoo since December started. From Kids' festival and Fish festival, which were held in the last consecutive weekends, the animal facility remains accessible from 8:00 AM till evening.

Tourists, both nationals and international, can as well pay Sh50,000 for 'Behind the Scene' experience where a tourist gets to feed and interact with animals.

The centre offers cottages and other accommodation services ranging from Sh80,000 for singles, to Sh300,000 for family, inclusive of breakfast. It's beyond seeing and learning about animals.

One can participate in corporate events, behind-the-scenes experiences, dine at the restaurant, children enjoying the play facilities and much more throughout the year!
