The Crested Cranes head coach, Khalifa Ayub, has rallied his side to play their final title decider against Kenya with a lot of enthusiasm, as they look to cement the CECAFA under 17 championship.

Uganda tops the standings with 10 points, two better than second-placed Tanzania, which has an easier time against Djibouti, a team that has conceded 36 goals in their four matches in the tournament.

Ayub's charges will be without left back Samalie Nacacwa, who was dismissed by tournament organisers over health issues.

"It is our final match and we are going to play wholeheatedly against the Kenyans. We know that Tanzanians are more mature, but Kenyans would love to give us a big challenge," Ayub said.

The Kenyans will, however, have to contend Uganda's strike force led by team captain Juliet Nalukenge, with 10 goals, as well as Fauzia Najjemba, who has one less.
