Pupils show off amazing talents at Asifiwe International school extravaganza

It was an amazing talent explosion as pupils of different age groups performed during the Asifiwe International school production extravaganza.

This happened last Friday at Watoto church in Ntinda, on the outskirts of Kampala.

It was a colorful evening as over 700 parents and well-wishers filled the church to watch their children showcase talents.

The productions included solo and group performances where the children presented in their different learning centers and grades.

For example; Adonai and Shalom learning centers moved the crowd with the salsa dance while Yahweh learning center's poem was also well presented.

Elyon learning center gave off an exceptional bible presentation with a lot of confidence that followed a dance from Elshadai learning center.

Other moving presentations of the evening were; gymnastics, Christmas mixtape, spoken word, ballet dance and mimes.

In the same way, high grade students' productions were exhilarating. These included live performances by both boys and girls. They exhibited confidence while playing various instruments including the drums, guitars, trumpets and flutes.

Other included songs of praise, Hip hop dances, rap music and monologue.

Amidst the productions, a group of over 20 teachers dramatically took over the stage. They moved the audience in excitement with their well-choreographed dance moves. Clad in T shirts and jeans, their performance lasted for about 15 minutes.  

Meanwhile, the church was filled with the Christmas vibe as parents and children were smartly dressed in red, white and black as the theme colors.

Later on, the graduation of Peace school children was officiated over by David Kintu, the school principal who encouraged parents to continue providing for their children while bringing them up in the way that fears the Lord because it also what defines this school.

Asifiwe is a Christian school that follows the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE).

The graduands also had a cake to cut and after they were handed certificate of completion.

Before and amidst the productions, parents had time to catch up with each other over a drink and snacks.

To sum up the day, parents and outstanding children in different fields were gifted.

Starting off at a few minutes past 5:00pm, the concert went on till 11:30pm.
