Motocross: Wazir wins MX125cc title

Wazir who went into the race needing only eight points finished behind rival Fortune Ssentamu who won the race and his elder brother Ali Omar Yasser who finished second.

Wazir Omar finished third overall to collect 15 points and seal the 2019 Mountain Dew National Motocross championship title in MX125cc class at the Victoria Racing Track Garuga.

Wazir who went into the race needing only eight points finished behind rival Fortune Ssentamu who won the race and his elder brother Ali Omar Yasser who finished second in a tightly contested race.

"It is good that we have sealed our championship, and we now going to enjoy the next heats under no pressure," Omar Sr said.

 Ssebuguzi put up a great show

In the 85cc category, Waleed Omar also sealed the championship after winning the first heat, while William Blick Jr also sealed his title in the MX50cc class after finishing third in the 50cc class.

In the 65cc, Gift Ssebuguzi won the first heat to strengthen his chances of emerging the 2019MX65cc champion.
