JUDITH BABIRYE BABY US
Celebrated singer and MP for Buikwe district has reportedly given birth to a baby boy.
Babirye has been living in the US since her marriage to fellow MP Paul Musoke Ssebulime started developing cracks.
Babirye got married to Ssebulime in a highly secretive, but flamboyant function held in Kampala.
According to Babirye's father Henry Mukooza Isabirye, who spoke to New Vision's sister paper Bukedde, the baby and the mother are fine.
Reports indicate that she gave birth in Boston, Massachusetts, although reports indicate that she moved out of Boston after pressure from some Ugandans who described her stay there as wastage of taxpayers' money.
Her father says he has not been getting good communication from her son-in-law, Ssebulime, saying he was even shocked to realise he had gone back to his wife Rukia Ntale in August this year.
Babirye has been living in the US since June this year and she is expected back in the country at the start of next year before she resumes her duties as Member of Parliament.
