Vision Group, Land ministry offers free title checks  to the public

Ministry of Lands ICT officer, Ivan Twinobusingye, conducts title verification exercise for members of the public. The one day service was offered free of charge by Vision Group supported by the Democratic Governance Facility (DGF) and the ministry on Saturday. Hundreds of Ugandans took advantage of the service, usually called a "search" which otherwise is tedious to access and at a fee in normal working days at the land registry. Evoke Night starts in style

Evoke Night went down at Naguru Hilltop on Friday night. The show attracted a youthful audience who enjoyed various live music acts, poetry and dance from upcoming artistes. Mixtape Party Season 6 thrills revelers

The sixth season of Mixtape Party that happened on Friday night at UMA showgrounds excited Kampala party lovers. The show, hosted by the deejaying duo, Slick Stuart and Roja, had a buffet of entertainment, ranging from deejay mixes to music and dance acts. Various top artistes, including Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Fik Fameica, Fefe Busi and deejays such Mercy Pro, Naselow drove revelers into ecstasy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 
 

 

 
Qwela band pulls off third edition of Afro mix show 


The third edition of Qwela band's Afro Mix show returned on Saturday at Bight of Benin bar in Nakasero, Kampala. As the title clearly highlights, the show, as always, was about the representation of African virtues through not only music but crafts, fashion, and dance as well.

The performances represented several cultures from various regions of the country including Western, Central and Northern regions of Uganda. Interestingly, Qwela band's former members, Tamba Tangaza and Tempra Omona, also featured in the performances.  By Reagan Ssempijja
