Here are the musicians of the 2000s who are not in the limelight today.
Lady Titie Tabel
Tendo Tabel a.k.a Lady Titie was born in Bakuli, Kampala, to single mother, Zaali Bajanja. She has seven siblings. She attended Kampala Parents School, Ndejje Secondary School and Taibah High School. She was nominated for the PAM Awards in 2003 and took the Award for Female Artiste and the Best Live Single Award. Some of her songs are ‘Tebyansala', ‘Tewansala', ‘Traffic Jam', ‘Segwanga', ‘Yesu Nzize'.
Vampino
Vampino, born Elvis Kirya, first made his name under a music duo Benon and Vamposs. The duo started doing music in 2000. They had successful songs like "Mumulete", "I know", "Nsazewo", and "My lady". The video for their song "Mumuleete" made it to the top ten on MTV chart in UK. In 2009, Vampino opted for a solo career as Benon concentrated on music production. His songs include ‘Linda', ‘Ninga akumanyi', ‘Love to dance', ‘Harambe', ‘Njela Njela', etc.
Henry Tigan
Henry Tigan aka Henry Kirumaganyi was a reggae en afro-beat musician. He joined the music industry while still in secondary school in 2000. Some of his songs are, "Emiranga", "Muzudde", "Abogezi", "Lwaki Oninza", "Waddawa", "Nsiimye Gwe", and collaborations with local and international artists such as "Love Enzita" with Ritah Kigozi, etc.
Abdu Mulaasi a.k.a Rasta-Smart
A kadongo kamu singer and Light Production band member. His songs include ‘Nzigaddewo Farm', ‘Emikisa Gy'okufuna', ‘Sweet Wakati', ‘Emikisa', ‘Obufumbo Bube Bwa Liizi', ‘Ekyapa', ‘Enkulu Tenywa', ‘Farm' and ‘Swimming Pool'.
Moses Okori aka Coco Finger
Moses Okori aka Coco Finger was born on 25th June, 1982 in Kitoro within Entebbe, Uganda. He started song writing while in S.5. He broke out with his ‘Mikono Wagulu' track in 2009. Other songs are ‘My Miss', ‘Don't Break My Heart', e.t.c.
Emperor Orlando
Emperor Olandor, real name, John Ssozi, was a reggae, afro beat and dance hall artist. In the early 2000s, he was one of the most recognized artists with songs like Nakonkona, Piga Makofi and Sisonga.
