Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president Kiiza Besigye faced off with Police on Monday in Kireka while on his way to Namboole Stadium where FDC had planned a meeting. His convoy was intercepted and the Police used teargas to disperse his supporters while blasting the four-time presidential candidate with a water cannon while he stood in this car's sunroof; a move that almost flung him over. The images from that emerged from that confrontation in a week where the Police has come under intense scrutiny over its handling of protests, have dominated conversations.
