Katwe United Football Club's dream of playing in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League next season keeps running away game after game as the season rages on.

Makindye West Constituency Member of Parliament Allan Sssewanyana's owned team suffered yet another devastating defeat of the season 2-0 away to MYDA (Malaba Youth Development Authority) at Elgon View PlayGround.

This was the club's third straight loss. It should be recalled that after the humiliating 4-1 defeat by Aziz Damani Doves All-Star at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo, the club decided to terminate Uganda Cranes legend, Coach Hassan Mubiru's contract and immediately replaced him with an experienced coach Allan Kabonge alias ‘Messiah' who has a rich history of guiding Big league sides to promotion in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League.

However, the two games Kabonge has been in charge of the club, he has not won any, only to register two defeats, conceding four goals while scoring only one.

Currently, Katwe United stands 8th on the log in the Elgon Group with four points from five games.

Next on their menu will be Kiboga Young FC and Paidha Black Angels. This is Kabonge's chance of overturning matters at the club if they are to leave to up to expectations.

Still in the Elgon Group, the Mbale derby between Kataka FC against Kiboga Young (Mbale Heroes) was settled by a goal apiece on each side.

Bukedea Town Council picked three vital points away from home after defeating Light SS by a goal to nil.

In Rwenzori Group, the clash of the giants ended in a 1-1 draw between Kitara FC up against Ndejje University.

Water FC edged Doves FC by 1-0 in an exciting affair played at Maroons Grounds in Luzira.

Kigezi Homeboys also registered their second win of the campaign by defeating Kasese outfit New Villa by 1-0 in a game played at Kabale Municipal Stadium.
