StarTimes Stadium Lugogo is set to host this year's Pepsi University Football League final on Sunday between St. Lawrence University versus Uganda Christian University, according to league organisers.
The tie was earlier scheduled for November 3, at Mandela National Stadium but the condition of the pitch following heavy rains for the past one week forced management of the stadium to close it for a period of two weeks for refurbishment.

St. Lawrence University also had to wait for a penalty shootout, winning 3-2 to eject 2017 champions Uganda Martyrs University and confirming their presence in the finals having settled for a 2-2 aggregate over two legs.
In the third-place playoff, Nkozi based side Uganda Martyrs University will battle Bugema University to determine who finishes third and fourth respectively
