UCE invigilator found dead in house

A Uganda Certificate of Education invigilator at St. Barnabas Secondary School Karujanga in Kamugagunzi sub-county in Kabale district was on Tuesday found dead in her rented room.

The deceased has been identified as Sarah Ayebazibwe, a Physics and Math teacher at Jonan Luwum Memorial Secondary school located in Kamuganguzi Sub-County.

Ayebazibwe is a resident of Muyebe parish in Buhara sub-county in Kabale district and has also been a second-year student at Bishop Barham University College in Kabale district.

According to the Rev. Benon Byaruhanga, a teacher of Jonan Luwum Memorial Secondary school, the deceased had not reported any complaint about anything.

The Kigezi Region Police spokesperson, Elly Maate, says the deceased's body was taken to Kabale Region Referral Hospital for postmortem and the case registered at Katuna SD 18/29/10/19.
