Anek is Africa's netball vice-president for development

Uganda Netball Federation President Susan Anek has been elected to the Africa Netball body as the Vice President in charge of Development.
 
During her time as Uganda Netball Federation President, Uganda came from being unranked and have now been to two World Cup's and have won two Netball Africa Cup titles.
 
Anek was recommended by the National Council of Sports and is excited to get to work. She is very passionate about developing netball in the region and a few weeks ago admitted to encouraging Kenya and Tanzania to go for the Netball Africa Cup.
 
"If those two countries start competing in these tournaments it means netball in the region improves we also get good competition around East Africa," she said earlier
 
Uganda Opens her account at the Africa Netball Cup against Zimbabwe at 9 am while Kenya will Tanzania at 5 pm.
