Despite the morning rains, all the six games of the National Handball League that were scheduled for Saturday were played despite a high level of indiscipline exhibited by teams.

"It is the responsibility of coaches and managers to address the indiscipline of their players. For us, we officiate the game and penalize players according to the offence committed," referee Patrick Tabale said.
 
In the women league games, Kawanda lost to Nkumba 28-18. Shakirah Bako scored eight goals for Kawanda, while Jesca Nakamya managed nine for Nkumba.

In the other game, Prisons Lady Spears secured a narrow 22-19 win over defending champions Nkajja in a tightly contested game that had the latter's goalkeeper Brenda Awokorach voted player of the match.
 
Kawanda beat Makerere 29-14 while UPDF lost to Police 26-21 in the battle of forces.
 
Meanwhile, in the men's fixtures, Makerere Bulls beat UPDF 20-19 in a back-breaking game at Police Children School playground, while Prisons thumped Kyambogo 47-27 with Ibrahim Kongo scoring a game-high 11 goals for the prison warders, while Emmanuel Ode managed 13 goals for Kyambogo.
