Proline’s Bright Anukani was recognised for his away goal in the 1-1 draw against AS Kigali in the CAF Confederations Cup and for his performance with the Cranes.
National swimmer Kirabo Namutebi, motocross rider Alon Orland and footballer Bright Anukani's excellent performance in the month of September has received plaudits they deserve in the Real Stars Monthly Sports Awards.
On Thursady, the three received their awards at a brief function held at the sponsors Jude Color Solutions' stall at the UMA Show Ground.
The Executive President of Real Stars Sports Agency Isaac Mukasa in the company of Jude Colour Solutions Promotions Manager Henry Zzimbe, Ssenkumba Trading's Director Badru Ssenkumba, former national team captain Arthur Blick gave away the awards to the winners that were accompanied by their mothers Hadija Namanda and Evas Orland, for of Kirabo and Alon.
Mukasa said the agency started the awards to motivate sportsmen in different sports disciplines.
"This our first set of wards in the new season 2019-2020 but the awards were started about a year ago and they rotate in all sports disciplines," Mukasa noted.

Kirabo was awarded for her triumph in the 13th CANA Junior Swimming Championship in Tunisia where she scooped agold and two silver medals in the different races while Arlon was rewarded for his win the Africa Motocross Championship in the MX65CC category.
Proline's Bright Anukani was recognised for his away goal in the 1-1 draw against AS Kigali in the CAF Confederations Cup and for his performance with the Cranes.
"I feel happy for having won this award. It was a tough competition but I managed to do my best and come out victorious. The award means a lot to me because it means I have been recognised by reputable people and it motivates me to work hard," Namutebi said.
Alon's mum Evas Orland paid gratitude to Real Sports saying: "It is encouraging for the little ones when they go out there and do their best and get recognised. I'm sure he will be excited and work harder to win other accolades,"
"I thank you for recognizing me as the best in September and I will keep on doing my best to help my team win and also work hard individually," Anukani said.
Zzimbe noted that sport had revolved over the years and it was the reason they had come on board to support the awards.
"We decided to partner with Real Sports Agency because we realized it was important to recognise sportsmen from different perspectives because sport these days is a business unlike in the past," Zzimbe said before he encouraged all sportsmen to work hard.
