Notice from Insurance Regulatory Authority of Uganda

1. Section 108(1) of the Insurance Act, 2017, requires the accounts of Insurers not audited by the Auditor General to be audited by Auditors approved by the Authority.
2. In line with the aforementioned statutory requirement, the Authority wishes to up-date a list of Auditors approved to audit insurance players' accounts. This will be reviewed every year. Therefore, the Authority invites Auditors who are members of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), with sound standing in the market and are interested in auditing insurance players' accounts for the year 2020 to furnish it with the following:
