Will MC Kats and Fille last this time round?

During one of his night gigs a couple of days back, MC Kats asked the DJ to stop the music so he could make a big announcement.
Kats then went ahead to officially announce he was back with his baby mama songstress Fille Mutoni and promised he will stop at nothing to ensure she stages a big concert at Serena come 2020 among other things.
However, Kats was non-committal on whether they are back as a couple too or just as Kats Music and Fille Music working together for mutual benefit.
Anyway, what do you think happens when a pretty, young, nubile naïve upcoming female artiste meets a seasoned male showbiz and media personality who promises to build her a music career? They fall in love.
And that is the story of how it all began back then for Edwin Katamba alias MC Kats and Fille real names Fille Mutoni no wonder even when it breaks somehow it patches up later.
Fille Mutoni's break out song ‘Where Have you been at?' could easily be interpreted as a song she did for Kats when he finally showed up in her life and launched her music career having been an unknown vocalist prior to that.
Her follow up song was ‘Gat no Money' another groovy love tune about a young man with no money but all the good loving almost sounds like she was singing about her manager, but all that is speculation and let it remain just that.
2013 was the year in which Fille was introduced to us as a rising star and sincerely she has not disappointed since. She recently gave us hits like Love Again, Ninze Gwe, Akatijjo, and a couple of others from the early years of her career.
Her talent is hard to ignore but all of this would not be possible without the tireless efforts and know-how of MC Kats her manager and promoter. Unfortunately, when push came to shove, Kat's mastery of the music world was not enough to keep the couple's romance intact thus that bitter break up towards the end of last year.
The Break-Up
Continuous success analysts say love at times causes one's downfall. This looked like the case when Fille now an established star said she was done with MC Kats for his unfaithfulness assuming she was extremely faithful herself.
Just before the news of the couple's break up, word spreading in showbiz circles was that Fille had gone missing and was hiding out with some unknown fella (her love) of the moment choking on hard drugs in an unknown place with even police cases registered to that effect.
Mc Kats actually intimated to this while being hosted on one of the radio talk shows in town, it wasn't long before Fille showed up and announced their break up. What followed was melodrama accusations and counter-accusations plus some spats in public and then the acceptance it happened and it was time to let it go and live in peace.
Musically speaking Fille hasn't fared any better without Kats and looking at things more critically may reveal she has actually taken a few steps back while her man was busy introducing a one Shammy K as the new artiste he is managing. So far not so bad we just hope she has the staying power like Fille to last a couple of years.
Getting back together and what the future holds
After about 6 years together at least publically as a showbiz couple, breaking up completely was going to be hard especially when a beautiful daughter is involved and both their careers somehow feed off each other to thrive. But yes it happened and each of them had space and time to reflect and see how things can work without each other.
It looks like the months Kats and Fille spent apart made them realise the grass isn't actually greener out there thus their reunion. But wait a minute will this reunion work or the same ‘can do it on my own attitude' that separated them or will it l come back to haunt them.
I hope not given the fact that a few lessons have been learnt either side not forgetting these two seemed a happy family together in spite of the few challenges they were facing as a couple. Having chosen to reconcile let's hope against hope they will go all the way!
