We will beat UMU, says MUBS coach Charles Ayiekoh

MUBS coach Charles Ayiekoh has warned that it will be a tough game against home side Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) in the return leg of the quarterfinal of the University Football League. He was optimistic that his team will be able to come out on top.
The two sides played to a goalless draw in the first leg two weeks ago at Nakawa but Wednesday's second leg at Nkozi will decide who makes it to the semifinals.
"The first leg was a tough game. It was an even game which either side could have won. Our strikers had a bad day in the office especially Munir Saidi who had the best chance of the game with only the goalkeeper to beat but failed to score. Fortunately, they also failed to score and the game is still very open," Ayiekoh said.
"Tomorrow, ours is going to be an attacking game from the first whistle since we need goals and it is a tie that could end up being decided on away goals."
However, Uganda Martyr's coach Noah Mugerwa believes the home advantage will be crucial to their progress in the next round.
"The first leg was not a bad result. Although we didn't manage to score, we also held MUBS at their home. The onus is on us now to finish the job at home," noted Mugerwa.
UMU will be without the services of defender Nasser Lukwago and midfielders Livingstone Mbigo and Kazibwe Dan but they are confident they have suitable replacements in Masood Kafumbe and Gerald Othieno
Uganda Martyrs have never won against MUBS at home in the Pepsi University Football League. On Friday, YMCA Comprehensive Institute host St. Lawrence University for the second leg of their tie. St. Lawrence has a 2-0 advantage from the first leg.
