Pool Cranes coach Bwakonsya confident of winning medals

 

 

"This time around, we have worked on all things. I train the group three times a week and I also have a one on one sessions where we address the mental aspects of the matches," Bwakosya said.

 

This is to cater towards stopping the issues that took place in Zimbabwe two years ago from cropping up.  Players found Zimbabwe very hard to adapt too and the Pool Cranes lost their two team gold medals.

 

Bwankosya is aware it will not be easy especially for the men but women have an easier chance than the guys to do it.

 

"There is no doubt in my mind that these teams can win a medal. The women especially I believe can win the gold medal. First of all, in terms of the Ladies Pool is not played by many countries and the ones here are very good and can compete easily against the men," Bwankosya said.

 

His secret weapon in the ladies team is debutant Rashida Mutesi who will represent the country for the first time.

 

The team is sponsored by Spar financial Services, Array Metals, and the NCS has promised to also help the team to a certain degree.
