The Arua based side was temporary using Luzira Prisons ground for their home games

FUFA Clubs Licensing Committee has cleared Onduparaka to use Green Light stadium in Arua (their home venue) for the rest of the season.

The Arua based side was temporary using Luzira Prisons ground for their home games after FUFA insisted that Green Light stadium had not met some of the requirements to allow them host games.

Lack of toilets was one of the main reasons why the facility could not be cleared but they have at least worked upon that.

"The Secretariat has received a letter from FUFA indicating that Green Light Stadium has since met the minimum requirements to host Uganda Premier League games. Accordingly, all Onduparaka FC home matches will now be hosted at Green Light Stadium," read the communication from Uganda Premier league.

This was revealed in the letter addressed to Onduparaka from Uganda Premier League CEO Bernard Bainamani Bampaire.

Mbarara City, Bright Stars, Tooro United, Busoga United, BUL and Kyetume are the other sides that have not been cleared by the licensing committee to play their home games at their preferred venues.

Mbarara is currently using Luzira as their temporary home venue since Kakyeka has not yet been approved to host matches.

Both Bright Stars and Tooro United are currently sharing Muteesa II Memorial Stadium in Wankulukuku with Express since their prepared home venues in Mwererwe and Fort Portal respectively are not yet up to stand.

Busoga and BUL are temporary using FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru as their home venue while Kyetume hosts its games at Namboole with SC Villa and URA since there a home venue in Mukono it not yet ready.
