Nanzuka and Kyemwa dropped out of UMEA Primary School in Katoogo, Nama in Mukono due to lack of school fees.

However, Kimbugwe is in Primary Four at St Jude Primary School in Kakoola, Mukono and mines sand to raise school fees.

They are paid sh50,000 for every Isuzu Elf truckload (about three tonnes). The owner of the sand quarry takes sh10,000 per truck.
