Police gives guidelines on Bishops conference

The National Head of Laity and a member of the organising committee Gervase Ndyanabo said that more than 300 guests are expected to attend the Conference.

Traffic flows along different roads in Kampala will be interrupted during the Symposium Episcopal Conference of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM) Conference Golden Jubilee Celebrations starting today till 29th July.


The conference will bring together all Bishops in Africa and beyond.   
The Kampala Metropolitan Traffic Police Commandant Norman Musinga says on Sunday, July 21, the bishops will visit Rubaga Cathedral for prayers where a number of Catholic believers are expected to convene.

Therefore, traffic flow along Ggaba-Munyonyo road, Queen's way, Katwe, Mengo Hill road, Lubiri, Ring road, Kabakanjagala road,  Rubaga rd, and Nabunya will be interrupted.


Musinga adds that on 28 July there will be restricted access to Namugongo Catholic Shrine with traffic diversions.
