KAMPALA - To mark their 20th anniversary, Vision Group's Radio West and organizers of the annual Ekinihiiro concert have bounced back with the musical do. Unlike the previous concerts, this year's Ekinihiiro is meant to be bigger and better.

The theme for this year's Ekinihiiro, ‘Karasho', which means super exciting, also speaks volumes about how entertaining the show will be.

During a press conference held at Vision Group head offices on July 9, Fiona Tamale, Vision Group's events manager, intimated that at the show, there will be a mixture of both Mbarara entertainers and Kampala based artistes. She added that artistes like Bebe Cool, Lydia Jazmine, Beenie Gunter, and Fille, among others will grace the concert with their breathtaking performances.

"Aside from the entertainment, revelers at the show will be able to win themselves some cash. We have put in place sh20m for our fans to win and we shall have 20 winners who will equally share this money. We chose to avail this money because Radio West is marking 20 years," Tamale revealed.

The winning will not stop at the sh20m because MTN, one of this year's Ekinihiiro sponsors, will give a chance to lucky revelers who will win themselves brand new cars at the event.

Aggrey Byarugaba stressed this fact by adding that those who use MTN mobile money will stand high chances of winning.

To pull off a bigger and better show, the sound, lights and stage management have to be on point. To confirm this, therefore, Balaam Barugahara, from Balaam marketing agency assured those who will attend the show that the sound and entire show will be unmatched.

The show will take place on July 27 in Mbarara at Kakyeka stadium. Revelers will be required to pay a cover charge of only sh10,000 to access the show. Other companies sponsoring the show include Pepsi and Bell.
