The newly elected interim executive chairman Adam Sebbi says his first order of business is to review the constitution

On Sunday morning the Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) dissolved the duly elected 2017 executive committee and put in place an interim committee as they iron out issues that have plagued the sport in the last few months at an extraordinary general meeting held at Nob View Hotel on Sunday.

The meeting was called by petitioners to vote out members of the executive that they deemed fit to receive the axe.

Most prominent on the list was the chairman Bob Trubish who before the aforementioned meeting received his marching orders thanks to a vote by his fellow executive members while he was on sick leave.

"The next step for me is that I will focus on one major thing. I am going to focus on my reinstatement as the chairman of PAU basing on the fact that I was duly elected and I was removed unconstitutionally," Trubish said.

Trubish was denied the opportunity of a fair hearing and with this, he has promised to continue his fight even if they take him to the courts of law.

For now, newly elected interim executive chairman Adam Sebbi says his first order of business is to review the constitution that will bring the executive committee term limit to two years and also an amendment of the finance and accounts management processes and the inclusion of the trust deed among others.

Loose finance and accounts management policies saw some top executives like treasurer Oscar Ocakacon misuse funds which led to the dissolution of the previous executive because of discontent stakeholders.
